About Me

Hi! I’m Missy. I hope to inspire, motivate, support and entertain all you who come to visit me here. This blog has been my brainchild for several years now but I am a procrastinator extraordinaire. I’m a plodder and a planner, and I know how difficult it can be going from the planning stage to actually tackling a project. I also understand that a project can take way longer than anticipated, but I hope to show you that through perseverance, patience and faith you too can finish your projects and attain your goals.

I’m a wife to my best friend and cohort, and mother to our 3 loveable but crazy kids. My house is full and loud and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I love to cook, craft, sew, build, garden, dance and sing. I’m a choir director at an Orthodox parish in Appalachia, and my faith is central to my life. That being said, I have the most inappropriate sense of humor. I’m a nerd, a gamer, a hobbit, a Ravenclaw, a companion, a Betazoid, a rebel, and a leaf on the wind. (To my kids I’m Luna from My Little Pony LOL.)

If you can relate to any of this craziness, then you’re in the right place. My posts will be on a wide range of topics, will vary in style and type and will have a few special contributors as well. I may still be in the learning phase of this whole blogging thing but I hope you will join me on this journey.
