Welcome to my Budgeting and Finance category page. Here I will compile all the posts that I think you will need to get your finances on order. I have to admit that this page is as much for myself as for you. As far as the basics go, I’ve written the free guide and some basic budgeting posts for my kids to be able to go by. Sadly, most of this basic information is not taught in school. So when they get out in the real world they will need this information in a usable form.

A secondary part of that is if I’m dishing out advice on finances, mine need to be impeccable. Accountability can be a very helpful tool in any form of self improvement. I can give you the most wonderful financial advice in the world but if I can’t implement it in my own life how seriously are you going to take that advice. You have to keep in mind that setting up a budget or financial plan isn’t worth a whole lot if you don’t bother to follow it.

Here I hope to inspire you to get your finances in line as well as keep myself focused on the same for myself. We will take this journey together.
