Harry Potter Birthday Party

by | Jul 11, 2018 | Fun with the Family

My post today is somewhat bittersweet. Over the last several years, when one of the kids has had their eleventh birthday, we have thrown them a special Harry Potter Birthday Party. Well, a few weeks ago my youngest child turned 11 and we had our third and final one. Here I’ve put together a collection of all the things we did for all the parties.

We found these invitations online and decided to make our own.  We made them a little extra special by using the parchment paper.

We made these yummy Cauldron Cakes in place of the birthday cake.  I found the recipe on Pastry Affair here: Cauldron Cakes

We found these cute chocolate frog molds.  All we had to do was melt some chocolate chips, fill the molds and allow to set.

We made these super fun wizard wands that we found in the Pink Princess Cookbook.

You can’t have a Harry Potter birthday party without your acceptance letter. There are several versions of the letter out there.

We replaced our regular punch with some yummy Butter beer we also found on the pastry affair.  We just put it all together in a punch bowl.

We made this delicious Nagini calzone that we found on Kraft recipes.
